Financial Assistance for Those in Need

At First United Methodist Church of Burleson, we recognize that every person's circumstances are different, and people can suddenly find themselves in a difficult place. When this happens, our Helping Hands Ministry is ready to step in with financial assistance. Thanks to the support of church members and other donors, we are able to assist with utility bills. Helping Hands is different from many other local church ministries in that the scope of our support is all of Johnson county as well as any Burleson, TX addresses.

How To Get Help

On Thursdays from 10:00a-12:00p, individuals and families will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Our coordinators will provide a listening ear to better understand the circumstances that have caused hardship and will then provide financial counseling and assistance as is best determined for each situation.
