We Believe

community means helping each other.

Helping Hands

At First United Methodist Church of Burleson, we recognize that every person's circumstances are different, and people can suddenly find themselves in a difficult place. When this happens, our Helping Hands Ministry is ready to step in with financial assistance.

Helping Hands is different from many other local church ministries in that the scope of our support is all of Johnson county as well as any Burleson, TX addresses. Thanks to the support of church members and other donors, we are able to assist with rent and utility bills.

HOW TO GET HELP

On Thursdays from 10:00a-1:00p, individuals and families will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Our coordinators will provide a listening ear to better understand the circumstances that have caused hardship, and will then provide financial counseling and financial assistance as is best determined for each situation.

Need assistance? Email   or call the church office at (817) 295-1166. Please note that we do not provide consultations over email or phone.

Helping Hands Coordinators: Becky Brown & Stephanie Ayala
Time: Thursdays, 10:00am-1:00pm
