Tree of Life
How
Do I Purchase A Leaf On The “Tree of Life”?
Displaying
leaves of brass and copper, “The Tree of Life” adorns our Great Hall. The
beautiful Tree has been admired by many!
A question that has been asked is
“How do I purchase a leaf?”
A
donation of $200 or greater purchases each leaf.
Leaves of brass represent
memorials and copper are honorariums.
The leaves are engraved with the names of the honorees.
The donors are recognized in the “Tree of Life” book displayed next to
the tree.
The book is dedicated in memory of Clarence and Floye White. The
couple joined the church in 1973. She
died in 1993 and he in 1995. They
loved the church and gave generously to numerous ministries and the building
fund which was instrumental in the construction of this church on McAlister.
It
is also important to know that all leaf donations benefit areas
(building fund, music dept., etc.) within our church.
Please check with the church office, Donna Marshall (817-295-1166, ext. 221).
Donna can assist when choosing your leaf and donation area at FUMC of
Burleson. Detailed information is
provided in the brochures and donations forms which are available in the Great
Hall or office.
Donation forms
are also available at this web site.
Please email to Donna at donna.marshall@fumcburleson.org.
We
are thankful the Tree provides a special way to acknowledge a loved one,
friend, group, etc.!
Thank
you!

of Life” Committee – Hazel Brown, Bo Durham, Mary Foster, Jean Franklin, Mike
