At the First United Methodist church Burleson, we believe that worship is important. We always seek to give our best to God in worship as a gathered community of faith. It is our deep desire that worship becomes a meaningful and vital part of each Christian life.

Our 8:30 a.m.  sanctuary service is a traditional service of worship, which incorporates hymn singing, prayer, scripture and sermon as well as music provided by our choirs.

Our 9:30 a.m.  sanctuary service is a contempary service of worship we call "The Blend", which incorporates singing, prayer, and a short message.

Our Sunday school classes begin at 10:00 a.m. There is a class for everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest adult. Our First Church family is a large one, and Sunday School offers everyone a special place to be. Sunday School is the place where people learn about the Christian faith in a loving, supportive environment.  For a list of available classes please reference the education portion of this website.

Our 11:00 a.m. sanctuary service is our main service and is also a traditional service. Although our worship style is traditional, we strive to be vibrant and uplifting.  This service has a children's time early on in the service and upon conclusion the children leave the sanctuary to participate in children's church. 

**We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month in both the 8:30 and 11:00 services. United Methodists practice an open table, so all are welcome to participate in the sacrament, regardless of age, church membership, or experience.
