Parsonage Committee Largely due to the generosity of Floy White, the parsonage for First United Methodist church is among the most lovely ones in the Fort Worth District. Located at 387 Lincoln Oaks, it serves as the home for our pastoral family. The Parsonage Committee, in conjunction with the trustees, has charge of keeping the residence in tip top shape. Also, when there is a change in parsonage families, the Parsonage Committee coordinates meals and welcomes the new family into their new home by being as helpful as they can during the moving-in process. Should there be a serious illness in the parsonage family, the Committee coordinates the provision of meals and other acts of love and mercy.

The message is simple: we give out of our great thankfulness for and in response to God's abundant giving to us. We give because God gave first. We give because we want to be faithful.
