BUILDING USE AGREEMENT

THIS agreement, entered into
this ______ day of ___________,
20____, by and between The
First United Methodist Church, Lessor and
___________________________________________,
Lessee;
WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payment of
the rents and the performance of the terms of LESSEE’S covenants contained
herein, the LESSOR does hereby rent unto the
LESSEE and LESSEE hires from
the LESSOR such building(s) and / or rooms(s) located in the facility at 590
McAlister Blvd. for temporary use by LESSEE.
LESSEE agrees to the following conditions:
1. Start date of agreement: __________________________
2. End date of agreement: ___________________________
3. Time of occupancy shall not be before 8:00 A.M. and
depart time shall be no later than 9:00
P.M. each day.
4. The entire premises of any building are a non-tobacco
and
non-alcohol use facility.
5. On last scheduled day of this agreement, LESSOR agrees
to clean the
rented room(s) and leave the room(s) in the
same or better condition as found.
6. The LESSEE agrees to furnish all needed supplies for use
in the clean up of the room(s).
7. Immediately prior to leaving the building on the last
day of
this agreement, the LESSOR will notify a Church
designated person
when ready to depart the premises.

The Church is a facility specifically used for Worship and Christian
study. The decorum of any using party
should keep this in mind and act accordingly.
9. LESSEE will obey all city ordinances with regard to Fire
Safety and maximum number of people allowed in a room at one time. This includes not blocking doorways and non
use of candles.

LESSEE agrees to assume all liability for, and to hold LESSOR harmless from all
damages and all cost and fees in the defense thereof, caused by the negligence
or willful act of LESSEE
or LESSEE’S invitees or
guests in or upon any part of the rented premises and to be responsible for any
damage or breakage to
LESSEE’S equipment, fixtures
or appliances therein or thereon, not caused by LESSOR’S misconduct or willful
negligence.

read and understand a copy of the
General Guidelines for use of the FUMC facility.
______ I/We have executed
deposit and liability agreement required.
The total rent is due and
payable upon the execution of this agreement.
Payment is to be made to the First United Methodist Church of
Burleson. Rent is calculated by
multiplying the number of days of this agreement by the daily use fee(s) as
listed below. Any use on any day will
require full payment for that day.
